Will my private insurance cover my treatments?

Answer: Probably!
Chiropractic and other registered therapists are often covered by your private insurance company. Your BC medical card does not cover treatments.  Refined Health offers direct billing services, and this may include your insurance company!  In this case, our clinic can do majority of the work for you, and reduce the out-of-pocket expenses for you.  Additionally, you may have access to some practitioners through your ICBC claim.

How do I know manual therapy will work for me?

Answer: Varies by person!
Many people who have never tried chiropractic or other manual therapies have questions about whether these treatments are good options for them.  The majority of people who see an allied health care provider will experience positive results.  Unfortunately, there are also many people who have had a negative experience with their previous specialists, which dissuades them from trying therapy again.  “There is the right practitioner out there”, says Dr. Carly, “and hopefully Refined Health has the right one for you.”

How long do I have to see a Chiropractor or Therapist?

Answer: Varies by person!
Like all health care, your treatments and the time it takes your body to recover or respond is difficult to determine and your provider cannot make any guarantees.  Some people experience positive results immediately, and may not need another treatment for quite some time.  Others will respond more slowly to treatment, because their bodies need more time to reach health.  For many people, a certain frequency is required to achieve a desired outcome, especially when treating a condition. Otherwise, many people use manual therapy to maintain their level of health, and use it at their desired frequency.  There is no rule for frequency or pressure to visit your provider.
